We accept the following forms of ID:

  • Payslip
  • ID Card
  • Screenshot of your teacher accreditation card or registration number from registering authority

You can search for your registration number on the site relevant to you from below and share a screenshot with us.


We take your privacy very seriously. You can cover up any information on your payslip you'd prefer not to share with us. Please note that we delete all identification you upload as part of the sign-up process as soon as they've been reviewed.

We welcome all teaching and support staff from education sector across Australia irrespective of your specific role.

How much does it cost to join Blue Light Card?
We charge a one-off fee of $9.95 for a 2-year membership card fee.
What kind of ID do I need to provide? 
The type of identification you’ll need to provide depends on where you work, but your ID must show your name and affiliation to your employer or professional qualification. We safely destroy this information as soon as you’ve been approved as a member.
Can I see a list of the gift cards available and the discounts?
We don’t publicly display our discounts because we’ve committed to keep our offers exclusively for our member community to access. The good news is you can check out some of our biggest partners here.
