How to sign up for Blue Light Card

There are two easy ways you can sign up for a Blue Light Card.

Are you a practice manager?

To reward your practice for their hard work and loyalty, simply:

Open the Dental Practice Employee Details template and download a copy as a csv file to add your practice's details.
Enter the following information:
1. First and last name
2. Email address
3. Practice
Save the completed Dental Practice Employee Details template, send it to [email protected] and our friendly team will schedule the upload.
Once your employees details have been sent across they'll each receive an email to verify their account and start saving!

Eligible types of ID for dentists (individual applications)

If you're a dentist, we accept the following forms of ID, which must show your full name and affiliation to your employer:

AHPRA Certificate of Registration
Work ID Card
Payslip
Statement of service from your employer

We take your privacy very seriously. You can cover up any information on your payslip you'd prefer not to share with us. Please note that we delete all identification you upload as part of the sign-up process as soon as they've been reviewed.

How do I know if I’m eligible for Blue Light Card?

We welcome all dentists, dental practitioners and dental practice employees across Australia irrespective of your specific role.

How much does it cost to join Blue Light Card?

We charge $9.95 once-off for a 2-year membership card fee, unless you have a promo code to waive or discount payment.

What kind of ID do I need to provide? 

The type of identification you’ll need to provide depends on where you work, but your ID must show your name and affiliation to your employer or professional qualification. We safely destroy this information as soon as you’ve been approved as a member.

Can I see a list of the gift cards available and the discounts?

We don’t publicly display our discounts because we’ve committed to keep our offers exclusively for our member community to access. The good news is you can check out some of our biggest partners here.

We take our commitment to our member's data privacy very seriously. We completely understand how important it can be to keep our member's details private and confidential. We're proud to uphold the following:

- We securely delete all identification that you upload as part of the sign-up process as soon as it's been reviewed.

- Our community is not accessible by members of the general public. All members must be verified and logged in to their accounts to use the service.
